Love Letters to Black Folks

We ran our Love Letters to Black Folks series from June 21st - August 26th, 2020 in Berkeley California and Portland Oregon. The project involved offering free dessert, love letter, and care packages to Black Folks in our communities. Desserts were created by our Founder and Director Salimatu Amabebe, and letters were written by our Creative Director Annika Hansteen-Izora. Thank you to all of our donors, volunteers, and most of all, our community for making this project happen. Black joy is a source of resistance.
